Description

The dynamics of predatory online behaviors as well as information for parents and guardians to mitigate risk to their children, and more.

This presentation uses experience, case examples and development of the Children’s Anti-Exploitation Partnership (CAP) program, a revolutionary new collaborative initiative that focuses on reaching children at risk for sex trafficking or other forms of child sexual abuse. C.A.P. integrates individual and familial/guardian support with the education of parents, first responders, seasoned and newly-assigned crimes against children detectives, human trafficking investigators, educators, social services, medical and key community entities with ties to our most at-risk populations.

In this presentation, we will discuss the dynamics of predatory online behaviors as well as information to support parents and guardians to mitigate risk to their children from falling prey to victimization and/or further victimization (leading to future trafficking or exploitation). This training is recommended for parents, guardians, and family members of children and/or adult individuals at any age who have been diagnosed with an intellectual or developmental disability or who are Autistic. This presentation is appropriate for adults or older adolescents who are accompanied by a parent or guardian.
